Since 1997
We're the Electricians Your GC Actually Trusts
VoltGuard Electrical started when Dale Meyers left a commercial EC to go out on his own with two guys and a service van. Twenty-seven years later, we run six crews across three states — but we still wire every panel like Dale's standing behind us watching.
We're an electrical subcontractor. That means we work for general contractors, not homeowners directly. We rough in new construction, wire remodels, pull feeders for commercial buildouts, and handle service upgrades that other subs won't touch. Our guys carry their own insurance, show up when the schedule says, and leave the job site cleaner than they found it.
We don't do sales pitches. We do walkthroughs, honest bids, and clean work. If we can't hit your number, we'll tell you on day one — not change order you on day forty.
— Dale Meyers, Founder & Master Electrician

From the GCs We Work With
We'll Let Them Tell You
I've used VoltGuard on every subdivision we've built since 2014. Their rough-in is clean, their guys communicate, and I've never once had an inspector kick back their work. That's all I need to know.
Rick Andersen
Andersen Homes, President
They bid what they bid. No surprise change orders, no nickel-and-diming on fixture counts. In nine years, we've had one disagreement — and they handled it before I had to get involved.
Karen Dwyer
Dwyer Commercial Builders, Project Manager
Our last electrical sub left us hanging mid-project. VoltGuard came in, picked up someone else's mess, and finished the job on our original timeline. We haven't called anyone else since.

Safety & Licensing
Licensed, Insured, and Inspection-Ready
Every VoltGuard electrician carries their own credentials. Our journeymen average 11 years in the field. We hold weekly toolbox talks, maintain a written safety program, and carry $2M in general liability. Our EMR is 0.82 — below industry average — because we don't cut corners on safety or on wire.
We pull our own permits, schedule our own inspections, and stand behind every circuit we land. If it doesn't pass, we fix it on our dime. That's happened twice in 27 years.
